Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee the production of pastries, cakes, customized cakes, and other desserts according to the company’s recipes and standards
- Follow established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Supervise and guide assistants and helpers in daily production tasks, ensuring efficiency and teamwork
- Collaborate with the product development team to create new dessert items while maintaining signature quality
- Ensure all workstations, equipment, and utensils meet strict hygiene and safety regulations
- Monitor ingredient stock levels, coordinate with procurement for restocking, and minimize waste through efficient use of resources
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly, reporting any malfunctions to management promptly
- Complete orders within specified deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Stay updated on pastry trends and techniques to bring innovation and freshness to the product lineup
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef in a professional kitchen or factory setting
- In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and baking processes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
