Pastry Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and oversee the production of pastries, cakes, customized cakes, and other desserts according to the company’s recipes and standards
  • Follow established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
  • Supervise and guide assistants and helpers in daily production tasks, ensuring efficiency and teamwork
  • Collaborate with the product development team to create new dessert items while maintaining signature quality
  • Ensure all workstations, equipment, and utensils meet strict hygiene and safety regulations
  • Monitor ingredient stock levels, coordinate with procurement for restocking, and minimize waste through efficient use of resources
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly, reporting any malfunctions to management promptly
  • Complete orders within specified deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Stay updated on pastry trends and techniques to bring innovation and freshness to the product lineup

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a pastry chef in a professional kitchen or factory setting
  • In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and baking processes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
  • Attention to detail and a passion for excellence
